This is a Robert Schopper trombone made around 1910. This trombone is one of the best playing examples of a model 6 I've had come through the shop. The Hagmann valve is a specialty valve fabricated in Switzerland and for this particular trombone, installed at the Bach factory. The earlier versions were even nicer with lightweight red brass bells, all other and the signature hand engraved on he tone band. It will hold your Lawler very safely and you can carry an extra flare as well.

This horn has seen some use and has a few dents, most notably on the slide crook. You can wash the mouthpiece with warm, soapy water, making sure you dry the inside thoroughly. This is standard orchestral nomenclature. It appears to have been created in the late 17th century, from which the earliest surviving examples date.
